Dom Servini (Wah Wah 45s) // Music They Love #60

Posted by on

'Music They Love'... we ask DJ's and producers to delve into their collection and put together a selection of records that have meant a lot to them in the past, as well as the present. All things inspirational and influential - the records which have shaped their sound as a producer or selection as a DJ.

Today we're joined by Wah Wah 45's label head Dom Servini for an Omar inspired mix, here's what he had to say about it:

"This mix was inspired by supporting the U.K. soul music legend that is Omar at The Jazz Cafe at the end of May this year. I've worked with "the man" a few times over the years, having first interviewed him on the radio almost a decade ago and his energy, professionalism and that voice never fails. Featured on this mix are not only classics and passed over nuggets from Omar himself, but also releases on his dad's Kongo and Kongo Dance labels, production, guest and backing vocal appearances, keyboard features, duets and of course, his most famous song of all time. Hope you enjoy!"
