Sydney born, Berlin based producer Samantha Poulter aka Logic1000 has shared 'Perfume', a new single which will be released on 12" vinyl along with additional new track 'Blossom' on 25 September via her own label Therapy.

'Perfume' was originally premiered as part of Caribou's 2020 Radio 1 Essential Mix and is now available everywhere. Her first single since the release of her acclaimed self-titled debut EP which was released last year, the track follows a string of official remixes including of Låpsley's 'Womxn' and most recently of Christine and the Queens' 'La vita nuova'.

"Perfume is actually a finessed version of the very first Logic track ever made" says Poulter of the track, "I actually lost the original session so we recreated it from scratch. It was so fun and I'm super happy with how refined it is compared to the original"

The result is a track that sees the continued development of Poulter's striking and unique production skills. Her penchant for sourcing undiscovered 90s R&B vocal samples and layering them into something entirely new and genre spanning continues to mark her as one of the most new exciting talents around.

Poulter's debut EP steadily brought widespread acclaim with tracks being played round the world by DJ’s including Four Tet—who, after hearing Poulter’s music via Anthony Naples, included tracks in his Coachella sets and has gone onto support her throughout her career as a mentor and friend, regularly inviting her to join him on line ups. Her music also resonated with supporters such as (to name a few) DJ Python, Fauzia, Ben UFO, OK Williams, Floating Points, Annie Mac and Caribou. This lead to performances at London’s Printworks, Berlin Atonal and many more.
