In 2001 legendary Japanese outfit Kyoto Jazz Massive put out the ' Spirit Of The Sun ' album for Munich based Compost Records. 22 years later Echoes Of A New Dawn Orchestra who have been the live international band members for Kyoto Jazz Massive over the last 2 years got to do their own rendition of this classic. In this particular version, 3 members of Echoes Of A New Dawn Orchestra also happen to be part of Jéroboam who record for buzzing Dutch label Space Grapes and in this Mukatsuku release feature from Agyei Osei (vocals),Carel Cleril (bass), Kevin Le Bellec (guitar) from Jéroboam. It's a funky slap bass jazz flex affair with seductive horns that make for an irresistible dancer. On the flipside an unreleased exclusive instrumental version.
